Memorial Roll |
At Elk River Memorial Day & Missions Go Together
The Memorial Roll, established in 1919, is a way to honor deceased friends and loved ones. A certificate is issued in the name of the person memorialized and is presented to a family member. Churches or individuals may place as many names on the Memorial Roll as they desire, and those memorialized need not be members of the church.
The cost of keeping missionaries healthy so they can do their jobs is quite high, and the cost continues to rise. To help with such expenses, a donation of $50.00 per honoree is needed to place the name of the loved one on the Memorial Roll. These monies helps pay for the medical expenses of Nazarene missionaries. With increased awareness and participation of the Memorial Roll Program the amount of monies used to help with Missionary Health Care will increase. |
