Q:
When
did Elk River Nazarene Church begin? |
A: We began in 1943 during an old fashioned tent revival
on the banks of Elk River.
Since then we have had
various falicities along the
Elk River each one serving the
congregational needs and

Q:
What does a Nazarene Believe? |
A: We are an evangelical church, we join with all true
believers in proclaiming the
Lordship of Jesus Christ and in
embracing the Trinitarian
creedal statements of Christian faith.
We value our Wesleyan–Holiness
heritage and believe it to be a
way of understanding faith
that is true to Scripture, reason,
tradition, and experience.

What are the services like? |
A: Sunday Morning
Worship at “The

One might call our praise and

always bring a challenging and

Word.
Sunday Evening
focuses more on relationship building.
Many ministry groups meet
through out our facilities including
our
children’s ministry
and youth. Our adults meet in the
Sanctuary or participate in
L.I.F.E. U.
Wednesday Evening
focuses in on connections. Living Waters
Bible study meets in the
Sanctuary, Choir and Drama prepare
for ministry, L.I.F.E. U
classes are held and our children and
youth gather in age appropriate classes.

Q:
Will I have to say anything, give anything or be singled
out in anyway? |
A: As
our guest we only want you to feel welcomed and
comfortable as you worship with
us. We won’t call you up
front or ask you to stand. We
would like the opportunity to
share with you connection
opportunities at “The
River”, so we ask
that you complete the Family
Connection Card which you will
find on the back of the program bulletin that you will be given.
